CCL service / 02

Golden Thread

The right information, controlled and retrievable when it matters.

02

What this service does

A usable structure for building information, decisions and evidence—not a digital filing cabinet nobody can navigate.

CCL helps clients understand what information exists, what is missing, who owns it and how it should be maintained. The aim is a practical Golden Thread that supports safe operation, Building Safety Act duties, projects and everyday decision-making.

What CCL can do

Focused support, built around the building.

The final instruction can cover one defined problem or a complete programme. Scope, deliverables and approval limits are agreed first.

Golden Thread gap reviews and information maps

02

Document naming, version control and ownership structures

03

06

Simple governance so information stays current after the initial review

How we work

Clarity first. Control second. Evidence throughout.

CCL stays close enough to the detail to understand the problem, while keeping the client view clear and commercially focused.
